I've Got Style

Hmmm.....

My style of writing requires the use of a pen and some toilet paper for easy clean-up.

I am a huge fan of writing something once. That being said, I prefer to think in outline. I say think, because my writing process usually consists of four steps.

1. Determine Topic (usually the longest step for me)

2. Research Topic

3. Write Paper

4. Proof Read & Make Corrections

As I am doing the research, I am constantly thinking about how each information links with other bits of information that I have found for the topic in question. By the end of my research, I know where things link up and I come up with fillers and grabbers on the fly. I know that I could make my writing better through the use of other devices and processes, but the amount of work compared with the possible benefit do not make much sense to me at this time. I figure I'll have to start using a different process when my papers reach more considerable sizes. Till then, I'll keep to thinkin' and wingin' it.
